Korea Nepal Polytechnic Institute (KNPI) is one of the best constituent technical schools operating under Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) in Nepal. It has modern and spacious physical infrastructure and latest technology tools and equipment donated by KOICA, South Korea. It has been running diploma in engineering programs in Electrical & Electronics, Automobile, Mechanical and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning engineering. It has also been conducting short term training courses based on CTEVT curriculum to meet the different levels of National Skill Testing Board (NSTB).
The prime objective of this institute is to produce basic and middle level workforce to meet the needs of nation and overseas. By promoting income generation activities, this institute has planned to grow up with self-reliance management. To enhance the targeted goal of the institute, it has introduced dual-VET apprenticeship program in engineering departments through the cooperation with local industries.
To promote the access of disadvantaged group (DAG) people in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), this institute provides reserved quota to targeted people and conducts scholarship programs for special groups as requested by CTEVT. Moreover, Korean overseas volunteers have been supplied by KOICA to support and maintain the quality of this institute.
